The Service Employees International Union (SEIU) is a labor union representing more than 2 million workers and over 100 occupations. The majority of SEIU workers are employed in the health care industry (about 50% of membership) and the union has approximately 300 local branches. The SEIU is based in Washington, D.C., affiliated with the Change to Win Federation and the Canadian Labour Congress. Over 55% of SEIU members are women and approximately 40% are minority creating a very diverse union that is primed for continued growth and positive change!
